The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.
How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

We may change this Privacy Policy at any time and from time to time. The most recent version of the Privacy Policy is reflected by the version date located at the bottom of this Privacy Policy. All updates and amendments are effective immediately upon notice, which we may give by any means, including, but not limited to, by posting a revised version of this Privacy Policy or other notice on the Website. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy often to stay informed of changes that may affect you, as your continued use of the Website signifies your continuing consent to be bound by this Privacy Policy. Our electronically or otherwise properly stored copies of this Privacy Policy are each deemed to be the true, complete, valid, authentic, and enforceable copy of the version of this Privacy Policy which were in effect on each respective date you visited the Website.

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you, or when you use our Services and when other services provide it to us, as further described below. We do not sell or rent this information to anyone. We may share this information with other third parties that work on our behalf.

When expressing an interest in obtaining additional information about Virid or any of its product and services, or registering to use the product Web sites or other Services, or registering for an event, Virid requires you to provide the Company with personal contact information, such as name, company name, address, phone number, and email address (“Contact Information”). Virid may also ask you to provide additional information, such as company annual revenues, number of employees, or industry (“Optional Information”). This information may be entered into a CRM (“CRM”), Marketing Provider (“Marketing Provider”), Customer Support system (“Customer Support”) or Email Provider (“Email Provider”). We will use this information to respond to or fulfill your request, provide requested information or services, or creating accounts/registering you for requested events. We may also use this informational content to promote the use of our services. This contact information may also be used to provide customer support for our existing Clients or contact them about the Services they use.

When purchasing the Services or registering for an event, Virid may also require you to provide the Company with financial qualification and billing information, such as billing name and address, credit card number, and the number of employees within the organization that will be using the Services (“Billing Information”). This information may be shared with a PCI compliant Payment Processor (“Payment Processor”) solely for the purposes of billing and collecting moneys owed and fulfilling our contract with you.

When US Visitors apply for a job with the Company, Virid may also require you to submit additional personal information as well as a resume (“Applicant Information”). This information may pass through a Task Management system (“Task Management”) to allow us manage applications efficiently.

As you navigate the Company’s Websites or online Services, Virid may also collect information through the use of commonly-used information-gathering tools, such as cookies and Web beacons (“IT Information”). IT Information includes standard information from your Web browser (such as browser type and browser language), your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, and the actions you take on the Company’s Web sites (such as the Web pages viewed and the links clicked). We may also collect basic information in web logs for troubleshooting and performance tracking of our web site or services. This information may be entered into a Website Analytics system (“Website Analytics”), pass through our Hosting Provider (“Hosting Provider”) or our Task Management system. It is used only for the purposes of improving our sites and Services or troubleshooting specific issues.

We may, from time to time, offer surveys, contests, sweepstakes, or other promotions on our Websites or through social media (collectively “Our Promotions”). Participation in our Promotions is completely voluntary. Information requested for entry may include personal contact information such as your name, address, date of birth, phone number, email address, username, and similar details. We use the information you provide to administer Our Promotions. We may also, unless prohibited by the Promotion’s rules or law, use the information provided to communicate with you, or other people you select, about our Services. Virid obtains business contact and company information from third party sources, such as business intelligence providers. The information obtained by these third parties is from publicly available sources (e.g., news articles). This information is used to support Virid’s marketing and sales efforts. Virid’s sales team may contact you based on this information to determine your company’s interest in Virid’s services and technology solutions. You may opt-out of these communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link provided in the email or by sending a request to privacy@virid.com.

We use and disclose Personal Information for the following purposes:

To promote use of our Services to you and others. For example, if we collect your Personal Information when you visit our Website and do not sign up for any of the Services, we may send you an email inviting you to sign up. You can stop receiving our promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in every email we send.

To provide, support, and improve the Websites and Services we offer.

This includes, for example, third-party service providers who provide website and application development, hosting, maintenance, backup, storage, virtual infrastructure, payment processing, analysis and other services, which may require them to access or use information about you. When we do have to share Personal Information with third parties, we take steps to protect your information by requiring these third parties to enter into a contract with us that requires them to use the Personal Information we transfer to them in a manner that is consistent with this policy.

For legal purposes.

To bill and collect money owed to us by our Clients.

This includes sending you emails, invoices, receipts, notices of delinquency, and alerting you if we need a different credit card number. We use third parties for secure credit card transaction processing, and we send billing information to those third parties to process your orders and credit card payments.

Your personal information could be shared with representatives and advisors, including attorneys and accountants, to help us comply with legal, accounting, or security requirements.


To create accounts.

Data could be used to create accounts either on our website or for Clients within our Services or the supporting Customer Support systems.


To fulfill your request.

Your data will be used to provide requested information or services or registering you for requested events.


To communicate with our Clients about their account or Service usage and provide customer support.

Information may be used to provide customer support for our existing Clients or contact them about the Services they use. For example, new product feature and release notifications.

If you are a Virid Client and using our Services, Personal Information collected from your Customers or other individuals may be imported into our Services. We have no direct relationship with your Customers or any person other than you, and for that reason, you are responsible for making sure you have the appropriate permission for us to collect and process information about those individuals. We act solely as a data processor for such information.

If you are a Customer of one of our Clients we acknowledge your rights to access your data. We process Customer information only as directed to do so by our Clients. Please contact our Client directly to exercise any rights you may have to access, correct, amend, or delete your data. We have limited access to the Customer Data of our Clients, and will refer any requests received to them to process.

We will retain Personal Information we process on behalf of our Clients only for as long as needed to provide our Services or to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements.

 

Virid is a US based business and complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and/or the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework(s), as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union and the United Kingdom and/or Switzerland to the United States. Virid has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles notice, choice, accountability for onward transfers, security, data integrity and purpose limitation, access, recourse, enforcement and liability. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern. The Federal Trade Commission has jurisdiction over Virid’s compliance with the Privacy Shield.

 

In compliance with the Privacy Shield Principles, Virid commits to resolve complaints about your privacy and our collection or use of your personal information transferred to the United States pursuant to Privacy Shield. European Union and Swiss individuals with Privacy Shield inquiries or complaints should first contact Virid at: privacy@virid.com.

 

When we receive formal written complaints, we will contact the person who made the complaint to follow up. We work with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including local data protection authorities, to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of personal data that we cannot resolve with our users directly.

 

If your Privacy Shield complaint cannot be resolved through the above channels, under certain conditions, you may invoke binding arbitration for some residual claims not resolved by other redress mechanisms.
